Morgan's newborn pics with Kim

The day after we got home from the hospital, we went for Morgan's newborn pics.
Morgan and I went first, then Todd and Carson came a few hours later for family pics.
Love how they turned out. Kim always does an awesome job!

Our first week home

Todd's mom, Bonnie, was here while we were in the hospital. She took care of Carson for us while we were there. They had some fun dinners out and some shopping trips too. They came to the hospital two or three times to see us. We're so glad she was able to come down.

My sweet mom came Monday morning and spent the week with us. Todd went back to work, so I was happy to have her here to help. We made trips to Walmart on Tuesday (which was too soon for me to be out walking around!) and on Friday. She stayed until Saturday morning. I cried when she left. She was such a huge help!

Welcome Morgan Brooke Eagle!

Our sweet baby girl was born on March 11, 2014 at 12:22 p.m. She was 7 lb and 9 oz and 19 inches long.
I had a scheduled c-section at St. Vincent's. This experience was so much better than when I had Carson at Trinity Medical Center.
My friend Whitney works at the desk in Labor & Delivery and got me the biggest, nicest room, the best nurses and a VIP badge for Todd so we could enter and exit the unit without buzzing in.
My friend Sumer works in the NICU at STV, and they let her come in the OR and take photos.
I didn't have the morphine pump this time, but they managed my pain well. I was up and out of bed by 7pm Tuesday night.
We celebrated our 10th anniversary with dinner from Steak Out in our room Thursday night.
Sweet Morgan had some breathing issues (TTN) transient tachypnea of the newborn and was put in the NICU at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. She had to stay there until Friday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. We visited her a lot and took our visitors down to see her.
We stayed an extra night and all went home together Saturday around lunchtime.

19 week ultrasound 10/24/13

Baby girl is 10 ounces and everything looked great on the ultrasound we had today.
She was moving around like crazy and even grabbed her feet at one point.
So sweet to be able to see her for a few minutes!

I just had an 8 day streak without throwing up. This week, I've been dealing with some other not fun issues though. I won't go into detail, but it starts with an H and happens when you can't go to the bathroom. Didn't deal with these with Carson and have never dealt with them this bad. Hope it doesn't last long.

war eagle!

we went to auburn's homecoming game with some of our small group friends, the crockers.
it was a 1pm kickoff, so we grabbed lunch, tailgated for just a few minutes with some other friends from church and made it to our seats for pre-game festivities.
todd was shooting the game, so i took c down to the field to see him before the game.
it was blazing hot for mid-october. at halftime, we moved to the complete other side of the stadium to get mostly in the shade, with at least our backs to the sun.
after the game, we got to go down onto the field (c didn't care for any pics during this part).
it was a fun, long day!
